My lifelong passion for fiber arts began when my Grandma Youngblood taught me to crochet at age eight, later inspiring me to open and run a brick-and-mortar yarn shop - and even teach myself to knit.

I’m a proud mom of two grown sons—one serving in the WA National Guard and working at Boeing, and one forging his path and learning great things.

Together with my husband Barry, we own and operate a 14 acre ranch with alpacas, llamas, emus, reindeer, and a myriad of poultry and waterfowl. We have 5 dogs and 3 cats. We’ll be adding a Highland Cow soon!

Grounded in military discipline and shaped by global exploration, creativity, and a love of nature, I craft inclusive travel experiences that inspire and connect.

I’m an Army combat veteran, a 20 yr career that took me around the world and shaped my love for travel, culture, and connection. After retiring as a Master Sergeant(E8), I carried that spirit of exploration into civilian life, traveling across Europe, Central America, and beyond, eventually building an inclusive travel business where every traveler knows they have an ally.
